External CFO

Sage has a passion for people, sports, and accounting. Sage completed his undergrad degree at the University of Stellenbosch after completing his honours at UNISA. He then advanced to completing his SAICA articles at SizweNtsalubaGobodo Grant Thornton, Cape Town, where he was designated Associate General Accountant with SAICA. Furthermore, in 2021, Sage completed an MPhil in Development Finance at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.  

With a commitment to continuous learning, Sage pursued his CIMA qualification in 2022 to enhance his skillset.

Sage is an analytical, goal-oriented serial entrepreneur committed to personal & professional growth with hands-on experience conducting audits, compiling financial statements, and calculating net asset values. Capable of monitoring financial performance, managing operational budgets, conducting internal/external audits, and evaluating potential investments.

Additional experience includes reviewing and preparing valuations for purposes of portfolio valuations; Financial data modelling; Analysis of financial statements, evaluation of a company's operating data, business performance, and determination of proper levels of "working capital" and "capital structure" ratios; Displays a good understanding of IFRS and the ability to identify key IFRS issues within a business; and knowledge of the basic principles of mergers and acquisitions.
